To round out our first excursion into LGBTQIA+ horror, we talk about Jennifer Kent’s “The Babadook” which is a 2014 Australian horror movie that has quickly become a cult classic. We talk about the history behind Mr. Babadook becoming an LGBTQIA+ icon and just what makes it so scary. We also delve into how and why horror movies will always be scarier when they’re socially relevant.
